Barielle Gentle Breeze Collection

Good evening!  I'm heading out to a family Valentines Dinner (so romantic) but I had just enough time to get another post up to share with you!  These shades from the Barielle Gentle Breeze collection really got me in the mood for Spring.  I'm sure the warm weather here in California is helping with that desire.  I've already brought out my flip flops!  The Gentle Breeze Collection is a set of the "soft, gentle, eclectic hues of this most welcome and delightful season."  This collection is available now for $8 each bottle.  Let's jump in and check out these refreshing shades!

Pink Parasol is a "creamy strawberry ice" shade.  It's very pretty and really does look like strawberry ice cream!  The formula and application were both really lovely.  I used 3 coats of Pink Parasol and a layer of topcoat to finish.

Champagne Bubbles is an interesting shade of "creamy tangerine."  I haven't quite made up my mind how I feel about this shade.  It's definitely from the peach/orange family and I do like that about it.  The formula of Champagne Bubbles was a touch sheer but it built up nicely in 3 coats.  I finished with a layer of topcoat.

Heaven Sent is a "soft, creamy aquamarine."  This is such a pretty shade!  It's actually great for both Spring and Summer.  The formula and application of Heaven Sent were both perfect.  Nice and buttery.  I had full coverage in 2 coats.  I finished with a layer of topcoat.

Gray Sky is a "rich, creamy glacier gray."  This one was a bit heavy on the shimmer which caused a frosty look.  It did end up causing just a bit of visible brushstrokes, but nothing too major.  This is a good neutral color if you want a palate cleanser between crazy bright or dark shades.  I used 2 coats of Gray Sky and finished with a layer of topcoat.

And rounding out the collection is Under the Sea, a "rich, sea scuba blue shimmer."  This one was a bit heavy on the shimmer too and also gave a slightly frosty look.  You can see in the pictures there are some visible brush strokes.  The formula and application were both ok.  I used 2 coats of Under the Sea and a layer of topcoat.
